Inventory

Import services from a spreadsheet

Bring in an export from another system or your own list, up to 5,000 rows, with 30 days to undo it.

3 min

  1. Save your list as CSV or Excel. One row per service; columns for provider, type, location, account number, monthly cost and contract dates in any order and under any names.
  2. Open Import services under Inventory and choose the file.
  3. Match your columns to the fields. The mapping is remembered by name, so next month's export from the same system maps itself.
  4. Review the preview. Rows that match a service already in the inventory by account or circuit number update it rather than duplicating it; new locations are created from addresses it has not seen.
  5. Import. The batch gets a number, and for 30 days it can be undone from Settings, Data, which removes what it added and keeps what it only updated.
